Q (she/they) is a tattoo artist and illustrator and has been tattooing in the Bay Area since 2017. She specializes in illustrative black and grey with fine line detail work. She is often inspired by gothic imagery, liquid metal, the human figure, afrofuturism, her African and Taino ancestry, adinkra symbols, island life, vintage botanical illustrations, and so much more. They are currently booking large scale custom work, smaller ideas, or designs from their flash book.
Q works in San Francisco at Rose & Thorn Tattoo in the Mission District. For clients taking public transportation, it is conveniently located about a block from 16th Street Mission Bart and close to major bus lines.
Booking appointments Sunday – Wednesday and can be reached at the shop on those days.
Q also accepts walk – ins and same day requests when possible, so please feel free to stop by the shop and say hello! She will do her best to fit you in and talk with you even if there’s a bit of a wait.
Thursday and Friday are limited appointment only days and available upon request.
